Come visit our pop-up cafe for a magical experience designed to give you an exciting look into the world of Japanese Pop Culture! Our lovely Maids wear uniforms inspired by those in Akihabara, Japan's Anime & Manga district. We aim to provide a service in which you feel completely at home - relaxed, entertained and full of yummy food! Taking a customers order is not enough - we entertain customers with dancing, magic spells & even playing games together!

Opening times & Information

10:00 - 11:30

Slot 1: Animal Ears

All of our maids appear to have turned into Animal girls! I wonder what kind of ears will appear~

12:00 - 13:30

Slot 2: Mahou Shoujo

Glitter, sparkles & bubbles are a must for every magical girls transformation! The maids will be accessorised with things to represent the magic that brought them to the Meian Manor!

14:30 - 16:00

Slot 3: Favourite Things

In honour of our resident Dragon, Maid Lumi's birthday. The maids will be accessorised with the thing they would "horde" if they were a dragon!

16:30 - 18:00

Slot 4: Angels and Demons

The power appears to be so strong that the Light side have turned into Angels & the Dark side into Demons!

Charity

This time for our charity we have chosen Centrepoint. They are a leading charity in battling youth homelessness. Whilst we are here & able to welcome you home to the cafe; there are children, teenagers & young adults that don’t have anywhere to go. You can find more information about the charity here:

Meian Maid Cafe is an event based pop-up cafe!

めいあん or 'Meian' means light and shade in Japanese. And this is the idea of our cafe - magical girls showing the two sides of cute!

Our Light side maids can be recognised by their pink uniforms and bubbly personalities with the Dark side maids showing the cool side of cute in black uniforms. Although both sides differ our goal is to spread moe across earth! Light and the Dark together in one kawaii package! ♥
