Our next cafe will be hosted at the convention Doki Doki in Manchester! We will be there across both the Saturday and Sunday of the event!

Come visit our pop-up cafe for a magical experience designed to give you an exciting look into the world of Japanese Pop Culture! Our lovely Maids wear uniforms inspired by those in Akihabara, Japan's Anime & Manga district. We aim to provide a service in which you feel completely at home - relaxed, entertained and full of yummy food! Taking a customers order is not enough - we entertain customers with dancing, magic spells & even playing games together!

Saturday 

11am - 12:30pm 

Slot 1: Akihabara Style

Our maids will be shining their unique style in their Meian uniforms!

1pm - 2:30pm

Slot 2: Medieval Fantasy

It's Maid Hana’s birthday! So in honour of our loyal knight, the maids will be knights or princesses! 

3pm - 4:30pm

Slot 3: Animal Ears

All of our maids appear to have turned into Animal girls! I wonder what kind of ears will appear this time~

Sunday 

11am - 12:30pm 

Slot 1: Akihabara Style

Our maids will be shining their unique style in their Meian uniforms!

1pm - 2:30pm

Slot 2: Nihon Teien

Nihon Teien means Japanese Garden! The maids will be accessorized with florals & traditional Japanese elements!

3pm - 4:30pm

Slot 3: Megane Magic

Our maids will be supporting one of the ultimate signs of moe magic by wearing cute glasses! Will the megane magic be strong enough for the maids to see your moe aura? 

 Please note that last entry/orders are 30 minutes before the slot closes. You are also welcome to attend as many slots as you would like but a £4 minimum spend is necessary in each slot. If for some reason you are not able to attend please cancel your reservation and let us know. Your reservation will be held for up to 20minutes from slot start before it is given to someone else Failure to show up for your reservation without notifying us will result in all other reservations of yours to be cancelled.

Meian Maid Cafe is an event based pop-up cafe!

めいあん or 'Meian' means light and shade in Japanese. And this is the idea of the cafe! It's a Dark vs Light cafe ♥

On one bright, sunny day, the heavens opened and from the sky fell five magical girls, dressed in pink sailor uniforms that possessed magical powers! With their shining grace, they set forth to spread kawaii across Planet Earth. They are sweet, friendly and welcoming and are looking forward to meeting all the customers!

On that same night, five spooky girls raised up from below, dressed in black sailor uniforms. Bathed in moonlight, they too possess magical powers! Their aim is to spread the creepy side of cute. Intelligent, determined and charming, they bring a different edge to our cafe.

Together, we co-exist as Meian Maid Cafe, the Light and the Dark together in one kawaii package! ♥
